A month after ousting its chief executive, the board of Swedbank is set to ditch its chairman too. A statement released on Wednesday details how, following the original proposal for the re-election of Anders Sundström as chairman at its forthcoming AGM, the bank’s nomination committee decided to reverse its decision following talks with institutional shareholders that indicated it did not have “sufficiently large support.” (FT)
