My Fight to Shield Savers From the City Pickpockets

The finance industry is fabulous at making money for itself, but pretty rubbish at creating wealth for the people it is supposed to serve: small savers and investors like you and me. That’s the view of former fund manager David Pitt-Watson, who speaks with the authority of a man who has spent decades inside the charmed City circle. Siphoning off money from pension savings through sneaky fees and charges is, according to him, a ‘perfect crime’.
