Aviva Investors’ chief executive Euan Munro has plans to take the company beyond its insurance roots and establish it as one of the major players in asset management. Munro, who joined in 2014 from Standard Life Investments where he was heralded as the mastermind behind the popular Global Absolute Return Strategies, has since overseen the launch of the Aviva Investors Multi-Strategy funds (Aims) – the three-strong absolute return target fund range. With the team managing the funds now complete, Munro (pictured) says the range remains core to the firm’s propositions.
