An international group of think-tanks, campaign groups, NGOs, trade unions and faith groups is collaborating to promote sustainable and responsible investment in Europe. UK-based Responsible Investment charity ShareAction has led the creation of the European Responsible Investment Network (ERIN), the first of its kind. The network will be launched at a two-day conference hosted by ShareAction at the Heinrich Böll Foundation in Berlin on 9 and 10 June 2016, with over 140 attendees from across Europe. The network is made up of 25 organisations from Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland and the UK. Members range from Dutch sustainable investment associations and Italian ethical banking groups to NGOs that address Norway’s sovereign wealth fund’s investment practices.
