Are todays Corporate Directors more personally liable?

Now more than ever, corporate directors are finding themselves named in lawsuits. Today, any major decision from the company or board level seems to result in some form of legal action. All this increased litigation begs the question – what’s the level of personal liability for directors on public boards and how can their liability be mitigated?
