Boards Who Add Value

The intentional director questions everything about the way we do things as a board. Just because we have always acted in a certain way does not mean it’s the most successful way to act. They tailor the actions of the board to achieve the best outcomes. It is a liberating approach, because we can design boards to the unique circumstances of our organisations and their needs. As directors, the intentional director approach requires us to take a panoramic view of what is involved in being a board member. It requires confidence in our identity as directors and maturity to balance what can be competing roles and behaviours.
